Peter Emtage , Ph.D.

Peter Emtage joined the Company as its Vice President of R&D in April of 2006.  Prior to Nventa, Peter was the Senior Director of Immunology at Biomira since June 2005 and was promoted to Vice President, Research & Development and Technical Operations in February 2006.  Prior to joining Biomira, Peter was the Director of Biology Research at Nuvelo Inc, a biotech company in southern California.  During 2001 and 2002, Peter was an Instructor in Medicine at the Harvard Institutes of Health, Harvard Medical School.  He has also held positions at Aventis Pasteur and the National Cancer Institute.  Peter received his Ph.D. from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario and his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Guelph University, Guelph, Ontario.
