NVENTA TO PRESENT AT BIO 2008 INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION

San Diego, California USA - Nventa Biopharmaceuticals Corporation (TSX:NVN) announced today that the Company’s vice president of corporate development, Richard Lai Fatt, Ph.D., is scheduled to present a Company overview at the Business Forum during the Biotechnology Industry Organization 2008 International Convention being held in San Diego, California, June 17-20, 2008. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at 3:45 p.m. PDT in Room 5B at the San Diego Convention Center.

Dr. Lai Fatt will discuss the Company’s progress with its lead product candidate, HspE7, a novel compound intended for the treatment of precancerous and cancerous lesions caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases in the world. The presentation will not be webcast.
